Handmade Glass Bell with Brass Base

This exquisite glass bell/vase with a brass base was designed in 2024 and featured in connection with the exhibition Florilegium Ornamentum, shown in our gallery in spring 2025.

The vase is named “Belle” after the French word for beautiful. Belle is designed with two functions: it can serve as a vase when placed in a brass base lined with suede, or as a display bell on a zinc plateau.

Every piece is unique. Belle varies in height and volume, from the shortest at 30 cm / 17 cm in diameter to the tallest at 42 cm / 17 cm in diameter. The brass bases are specially made for each individual vase, resulting in subtle differences in height and proportion.

Belle comes with both the brass base and the zinc plateau.
